This weekend at the NEC Classic Motor Show the Club will be relaunching the Rover P6 to the press and public as the defining sports saloons of the 60s and 70s.

We are championing the P6 as one of the most attainable and advanced performance classics you can buy today - in fact, the most technologically advanced British saloon of the period.

We are pleased to announce that Practical Classics' Danny Hopkins and Sam Glover will be the face of the relaunch when they present the ceremony, which will take place at midday on Friday 14 November.

Two cars will be unveiled to the press and public - an early 2000 and a restored 3500S - and there will be champagne, models and members of the original P6 engineering team on the stand to join in with the celebrations. We want as many of you to be a part of this ceremony as possible. So share and tweet about this, and come to see us in Hall 17, stand 440 from 11:45 this Friday.

This relaunch is the first in a series of events in a year-long campaign to promote the P6 as the iconic classic sports saloon of its decades. Since the 50th anniversary celebrations last year, interest in the car has markedly increased. This can only bode well for the future survival of these now quite rare motorcars, and we feel it is the duty of The Rover P6 Club to lead from the front in championing these exceptional and groundbreaking cars.

You can still buy discounted club rate tickets using the discount code from the website.
We will be there all weekend in the 'Rover Village' we helped to build with the Joint Rover Clubs.
