power steering fluid like chocolate milk

Hi All,

Not exactly a p6 query but one for my sd1.

The power steering got a bit heavy and whined.

On opening up the fluid res it was like frothy chocolate milk.

This is somthing I have never come accross before and am looking for a few suggestions, I reckon the pump has done it's seals but can't figure out the chocolate frothy ness.

If it has definately done one of the seals, could it not be now drawing air in and therefore the pump is pumping air into the oil - making it frothy?

Just a suggestion - could be completely wrong!
