points / condensor

where's the best place to get a new set of points and a condensor for my V8 dizzy?

Are halfrauds likely to do them? I suspect not somehow... :/
Thoughts?

Maybe not Halfords but any half decent motor factors or any of the P6 specialists should sort you out

Managed to pick them up locally.
I have discovered, however, that my vac advance is a bit tired.

So's mine, but it reduces the risk of pinking when running a 10.5 CR engine on unleaded so I've left it alone

depedning on distributor fitted, Range Rover parts shold fit.

I have halfords distributor cap (RR - blue cap) fitted and although it is a bit different to P6 (black cap) it runs fine.
