Plug leads, whats the best for a 3.5ltr ?

Hi all, im using a fairly ish good quality set of leads for my 74 V8, l find the boots are right PIA to get seated on the actual plugs, very long boot with the clip that pops on the plug right down in the bottom of the boot. You almost can't feel if it's seated properly or not, very tight, almost like the spark has to travel to reach thenplug if not seated correctly, also a sod to remove as feels like its all going to pull apart. What do you all use ?
 
My Rover was wearing the original Lucas leads until 1989. At that time I replaced them with a set of custom-made Magnecor leads. In 2007 I replaced that set with a second set of Magnecor, which are still in use. I have never had an issue and can thoroughly recommend them, based upon my experience. The first set were used for 128,753 miles (207,300km), the second now has 210,000 miles (338,000km).
