Further Detail of some of the above outings:

1. On Sunday 23 February 2014 from 10am to 4pm - The first outing of 2014 to Rover Day at Whitewebbs Museum, Enfield, Middlesex, EN2 9HW - http://www.whitewebbsmuseum.co.uk . Thanks must go to the Rover Sports Register for organising this event year after year.

2. On Sunday 27 April - Drive it Day outing to Mercerdes-Benz World - Mercedes-Benz have very kindly allowed us to come to Mercedes-Benz World (between M25 junctions 10 and 11) for Drive it day on Sunday 27 April 2014 where we will have sole use of the coach park for our P6s and older Rovers. When I booked us in it was expected that the Piston Heads Sunday service would be there on that day but they said we could come anyway as they recognised the P6 as an important classic car. After all Princess Grace as well as being in that famous Mercedes in the film had a Rover P6.

I kept the news about the Piston Heads Sunday Service quiet so it could be a great surprise if it happened.

This is a real bonus as there will be 600-700 of them there and we will have access to all the special facilities put on for them by Mercedes Benz.as well as being able to join in all the fun There will not be a problem getting in as we have our own separate reserved parking area away from them. We can however walk over and join in all the fun. see http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... Fb_Xdc_ftY and http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... Fb_Xdc_ftY and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zi7MSrp ... detailpage and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wHgeYPd ... detailpage

Entry to nearby Petworth House and Gardens will be free to National Trust members if you bring your membership card. The Fete in the Park, organised by the Petworth & District Community Association and the National Trust, was first held in 2006, and over the years has grown in popularity. Held in the glorious setting of Petworth Park, the fete is a real community event. There is something for all the family including a fairground, hog roast, musical bands, street theatre and craft stalls. Local groups have a variety of stalls to fundraise and promote what they do, and the whole event sponsors a local charity each year. Since 2010, the day has ended with a free concert in the evening and it is hoped this will take place again this year so you may wish to consider a later departure. The event has its own classic car display but we will be running ours in our own area in our usual style, so we will add an additional display/attraction. Several of us will meet at the Case is Altered between 7.50am and 8am and travel from there to Petworth stopping off at the Bacon Butty breakfast bar on the A283 at between approx. 9.20 and 9.50.
