P6b oilpump shaft

Getting stuff ready for going to an SD1 front cover on a 3.9L block, I converted a P6B dizzy to the later oil pump drive. This involved removing a bit of the oilpump drive tang. Now I am thinking that I was a bit hasty (not unusual!) . In order that a newly built engine will start promptly to allow the cam/lifters to bed in properly i started thinking i should test the rebuilt dizzy in the p6B engine before it gets decommissioned. So, while I have SD1 oil pump shafts I can measure, I dont have a P6B shaft to check. I make the SD1 shaft , from the TOP face of the gear to the end, 98mm,Including tang; tang is 9mm deep. Does anybody have a P6B shaft they can measure for me please? I want to see if I have enough drive tang on the dizzy shaft to engage the p6b shaft, so i can safely run the engine.
Hope that makes sense...
thanks
