P6B Manual Overdrive?

Was there ever an overdrive available for the 4 speed V8 gearbox? Or is there even a version that might fit ?

Nope. They experimented with overdrive on the 4-pot, but could never fully resolve the vibration issues, so stopped.
 
A Triumph overdrive box can be made to fit.

That's pretty. Is it out of, or destined for, the car in the background? Which is what, exactly? I see wide rear wheels and I think there's been some ammendments made to the rear wheel arch. Are we looking at playthings of yours, Harvey?

Nothing to do with me. It is going into the car in the background, which IIRC is a 4 door MG Magnette, converted to 2 door, by a guy in Oz.

Great lockdown rabbit-hole. Lots of excellent things being done to that car. When it's done I'll have to get this talented Vince fella to do me the P6 coupe we were all talking about somewhere here the other day! He's a bit far away though.
I just spent some hours trawling through that build thread from the earlier posts and learnt all about how much work is actually involved in going from four doors to a coupe. Just incredible!
