Just bought a 1975 Series 2. 3500 V8 P6.
it’s mostly complete, reasonably sound, it has sat unused for a while, is missing a few trim parts etc, which whilst I am restoring it will start to collect,
Unusually it is painted in Almond but has an Ambla box pleat interior, in Mango !
i have managed to get it running, but it will need a new battery.
Look forward to posting on here with my progress and questions .

Right, here goes, the interior which i thought was Mango due to dirt, is apparently Bronze, anyway you wanted some pics, well the surgery has started...... maybe i need to start my own restoration thread ?
The pics are from an auction site back in Feb 24 i think? This was essentially how i bought the car from the gentleman who i assume purchased it at the auction. 3380-0.jpg3380-1.jpg3380-2.jpg3380-5.jpg3380-6.jpg3380-7.jpg3380-8.jpg
 
Hats off to you there is defo some work there! I still think the interior is mango though as there were only I think mango, ebony buckskin and sandlewood to choose from? Seats look in great condition too. Plenty to keep you busy John! But what a pleasure to do as well. I like that you took entire front end off - no messing about there!

Well, it looks like you already have, good luck with it.

Certainly keep that bonnet slam panel a removable / bolt in item, you will find engine / trans installs a breeze.
 
If you are going to do a job do it properly.......... foot well panel unpicked and ready for repair.
Note the rust behind the suspension mountings. this is a box section behind the dash, which is going to make a proper repair difficult. plus i dont want to disturb the mounting tubes themselves incase they move out of position.

I intend too, although i am only 57, i am beginning to feel my age, climbing about and underneat old cars lol!
 
Hallo, ich habe so ein Radio, das kannst du gerne haben. Ob es noch funktioniert weiß ich nicht, die Kabel wurden irgendwann mal abgeschnitten.
Ich mache vom 01.09. - 20.09. mit einem Wohnwagen Urlaub in England. Von Dover aus fahre ich die Ostküste entlang. Mein erster Zwischenstopp für zwei Nächte ist der All Hallows Place Touring Park.
