P6 vip bramblebush find

This is a nice find, especially a brasilli a VIP, which must be the rarest of the VIP's.

Hi all now got all 4 wings off and sill covers as well, considering 25 years in a farmyard i would have thought it would be all crispy, but it isnt!i estimate about half a days worth of welding for the four corners of the floorpan and the rear jacking points should suffice. I have jacked it up on the front points no noises or problems whatever. Will get some pictures when the rain stops,my wife thinks the reg no should not be 999 but 666! It does seem to have led a charmed life.......

I worked out yesterday why they didn't fit power windows... At some point the changed the inner door pressings and they no longer had the holes necessary for access to screw the motors on

Wow, what a lovely old Rover, a real find! I thought the VIPs were all finished in a metallic silver colour though, didn't realise they did them in brown too...
