this gives details of the workshop billing hours for various repairs on a P6; an original would be nice, a photocopy also appreciated, PM me and I'll get back to you
Just looking at the time given to remove a 3500 radiator, just under an hour (about 54 minutes I believe)! That seems very generous, Its takes me about 20 to 30 minutes to remove mine (I've done it three times now  ) and as mines an auto that includes disconnecting the oil cooler pipes for the gearbox. I'm sure back in the day a skilled Rover mechanic at a dealer would have been laughing with times like that. I wonder if all jobs had generous times?
When I worked in sales a few years back at a Renault main dealer and a Mercedes-Benz main dealer the guys in the workshop were always moaning that they weren't given enough time for certain jobs, I suppose profit is more important these days than making sure the job is done correctly due to time constraints
*Edit*
I have re-read it properly and now see that time includes re-fitting the radiator, I'll let them off. However I still wonder whether the times could be over generous?
