P6 air filter dyno test

Surely it is not all about flow on an inlet tract. Yes years ago it was all polish, polish, polish, now we realise that too smooth an internal surface leads to fuel dropping out of the intake charge and condensing on the surfaces. A smooth, but satin finish with no obstructions is considered desirable.
 
when you consider the internal area of the elbows is probably 4 times that of the carbs themselves so finish inside the elbow is going to be pretty meaningless
