P6 3500 Battery recommendations

Good Morning and happy New year Rover fans. I might be in need of a new battery for my 3500. Currently it has a Yuasa HSB 075. It doesn't seem to be tall enough as a previous owner has put blocks of wood in the bottom of the battery box. This may be to vent the battery via the large drain hole at the bottom of the box. Anyway what is every body else using??
many thanks
Dave

Quick post while at work, my car came with a 005R in it which seems to fit well, has no external mouldings for clamps so it fits in the box and importantly has the terminals reversed so the connections fit and the cover can go on.

I had to buy a replacement recently and got the Lucas one.

Cheers.
Thank you

I removed some spacers from under my battery to get it to sit a bit lower, makes it easier to get the cover on neatly.
When replacing the battery its a good time to go around all the earths/grounds you can find, disconnect, clean, Deoxit, reconnect. The obscure ones are the most likely to bite you - behind the glove boxes etc.
FWIW the best battery life I have experienced is with Panasonic units, distinctive in a white/semi translucent case. First was an original fitment in a Subaru, lasted 8 years, current unit is 6 years old.
