P6 2000 TC French

Bonjour,

I myself am not comfortable with the English language, alas! Google translation is my friend.

More seriously, the workshop manual exists in French, I have it but only in paper format.
Get closer to the Rover club of France, I imagine that with a membership you can have access to a lot of documents.
DanV8 which intervenes regularly here: [Topic officiel] Rover P6 - Restauration d'une 3500S '73 is one of the technical reference P6 of the Rover club of France, it will be able to enlighten you better than me.
Otherwise, you must be able to find it on the stock exchanges. You can contact, for example, this gentleman whom I regularly see on the stock exchanges in the west of France and who sells documents: denis.vincent50@orange.fr 0615334842
There are others, of course.

Cordialement

The carpets come from Coverdale.

The seats smell bad, I don't know what to do. They were washed and fed several times, to no avail.

Mechanically, the front suspension noise will have to be dealt with. It stops when I press the brake pedal.

Thanks for your advices.

That's an interesting engine. The rear plate on the cylinder head isn't original - looks home made.

The sump and rocker cover filter aren't correct for the year.

Can you look for a stamped number please? On the side where the oil pump is, back of the block, between the side of the side plate, and the back of the block.. where the red circle is.

The original engine was blocked after 25 years of immobilization, once dismantled, we saw that it was last repair side. The mechanic found a new one with a crankshaft. Only the cylinder head is original. A lot of things have been changed. For the elements that you have located, I do not have the answers.

Brilliant transformation. Enjoy it, you certainly deserve to after such an effort.

PS. Looks like a lovely Traction Avant in the workshop.
