P6 2000 TC for historic racing

Hi all,
and thanks for the instant replies on my first post. Having been to the Nürburgring »Eifelrennen« on Spt. 26.-28., i participated in the regularity run for cars from 1966 to 1976. It was such a fun and my TC 2000 a real looker between flocks of E-types, Gullwings and 911s. The Rover did well on the Ring, although i had nothing changed apart from taking off the hubcaps. Now i'm thinking of going into historix racing, but doubt wether a P6 is suitable. Has anyone knowledge about tuning the 2000 TC engine? I don't want to turn the car into a monster but have a historic car with a bit better performance than the regular on. I understand that i can take Spax dampers and throw out some interior for gaining lightness – maybe the 2000 TC should stay on public roads? A look on the Rover on th Ring: www.team-indianapolis.de
