Original Boot Tools

Tool kit? My car didn't even come with the battery cover. But I did acquire a jack in an unusual way. I was taking some stuff to the tip with Junkman (from this forum) and when we pulled into the parking bay we noticed the man from the car next to us was carrying a P6 jack towards the metals skip. It goes without saying he was prevented from throwing it in! He had no idea what it was for, it was just junk from his shed.

If we'd arrived ten seconds later we wouldn't have seen him. What are the chances?

Mine has the jack, which is blue in colour along with the tool for the wheel nuts.

Although I don't have one, there is also the official Rover air pressure gauge engraved with the Viking shield emblem.

Ron.

i still have the complete kit including the pressure gauge and pump. My only problem is that my late father added more tools so I am not sure what should and shouldn't be there.
As a side note, the pressure gauge was stolen literally from under my father's nose and it was only a few years back that we managed to find replacement.

Hi, all, when I was emptying the car ready for the welding I came across the tool roll, does it look complete? Any ideas what the four metal bushes are for?

Your spanners look wrong, and the pliers are missing. Rover may have used different spanners at different times though.

I lifted this pic from ebay which looks more like it.
