This is a tool roll I found in the boot of a scrapper that had been idle for 20 years. I've no idea what's original, but the quality is generally awful.
Left to Right:
Spanner - 2BA (the larger end) and 4BA marked "TW".
Tyre pressure gauge, good quality with Rover logo. Made in England.
Bar for box spanners.
Spanner - 5/16 and 3/8.
Cross-head/flat-head screwdriver. Shaft pulls out and reverses to swap. Made in Germany. No manufacturer.
Box spanner. No markings at all. Both ends same size.
Spanner - 9/16 A/F and 5/8 A/F. "chrome vanadium" "British Made".
Spanner - 7/16 AF and 1/2 AF. "TW" "Made in England" "Superslim".
Box spanner. No markings at all. Large end same size as other box spanner. Small end fits snugly into other box spanner. Doesn't fit P6 wheel nuts.
The roll itself has no markings.

Photos here suggest that it is genuine but missing pliers:

very interesting thank you for that :) looks like im missing the bar for the box spanners and a spanner but could possibly have them in a box of bits in the shed :| anyone know what the original foot pump looks like? My car did have one in the boot and i think thats also in the shed.

Well, this helps solve a mystery - I found the lever for the box spanner on my driveway last week, and couldn't identify it.

My 1970 3500 has the original tool roll, is it that unusual?

I've just figured out what the large end of the box spanner fits - downright obvious really!

The sump plug and spark plug - I'd never realised before that they were the same size!

i knew they were plug spanners but couldn't work out why there are two  the pliers in my set have made in poland written on them surely thats not right?

I don't own but I have seen a Rover tool kit, and it contained amongst other items a tyre pressure gauge which was engraved with the Rover viking ship.

That's the second item from the left in my photo. It's the only tool in the kit that's good quality.

All that's missing is the two most essential tools - 4lb hammer and roll of gaffa tape :D .

If you lose your sump plug - a spark plug will fit - LOL - true
