Old School Britool - socket set with hex drive

Compared to what we used to have,there is little engineering industry left in this country. There are some firms that carry on the traditions of quality and individuality though,and I'm pleased JCB are amongst them.

I work for the Earthmovers division.( Electrical Design Engineer)

There is now a division for power tools. clothing etc.

But as my birth date was 14-01-1949, I have only six months to finish UA 445J.

That's a big old place, JCB. I used to take the A50 to pick up the M6 at Stoke rather than depart the M1 for the start of the M6. Too many hold-ups, too frequently around the Brum area for my liking, although later on the firm supplied tags for the M6 Toll. I preferred the ride up the A50 though, same mileage to J16 & only 10 minutes on the journey time.
