Number plate light - Which route for wiring

Could someone remind of the routing for the rear number plate light. I now that it comes through the grommet in the centre of the rear valence but how does it get from inside the boot area to outside the car???

Just ran out to the workshop to have a look for you! The cabling attatches to the part of the loom that takes power to the tail lights on the drivers side. It passes out through the inner wing and then goes down under the valance.
At least that is the way that all my cars have been so far!! ;)

Know the feeling! Splicing a modern EFi loom into a 70's car takes a bit of headscratching too!!!! ???
