New Member

Good afternoon all, my name is Chris and I have just purchased a 1972 200TC Manual, in red with black vinyl roof. Really looking forward to driving and getting to know the car.
I am ex RAF engineer and I live on the Suffolk coast with the new car, my wife and dog. We are looking forward to getting out and about in the car attending shows and organised visits. I haven't decided yet which club to join, so I'm open to any suggestions. Hope to meet some members out and about.

Welcome along.
My old P4 110 is now in the hands of another ex-RAF engineer who has executed a lot of great work on a 110 Santa Pod sleeper & though keeping mine largely original is continuing the good work on her.
You blokes seem to know what you're doing. ;)

Blimey, that is shiney

I like the red piping on the seats, I used a body colour piping on mine, certainly makes them stand out.

I would be a bit wary of driving without a door/wing mirror :hmm:

I'm sure that's what our esteemed administrator meant.
Lovely car you've got there, Chris. Welcome to P6 ownership and this helpful friendly forum.

 I do seem to be missing words out lately, which completely changes what I'm trying to say

Nice car, I'm going to go and sit over there, and yes I've edited it, thanks Al.

lovely colour, getting a few Suffolk people on here. might even warrant a local gathering?

Welcome Chris, beautiful looking 2000TC there sir! I have instant garage or show room envy :) do I also spy a MKIII escort in the background ?
You are correct Damian, but this setting is at the previous owners collection in welshpool (not my garage :-( ), but i do believe that he is going to sell others soon.

I was aware of that show, it's good one, I've been before, but my club East Anglian Practical Classics, has a meeting at the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway on that day. I'm going to Kersey Mill on the 25th of April though. Haven't decided whether to take the Rover or my Matra Murena yet. There's also AS Motorsports on the same day. Cobraboy, of this forum, might be there.
