Hello everybody,
my name is Ralf, I am 60 years old and live in Germany near Cologne.
Some months ago I bought a 2200TC from 1976 which has been originally exported to Sweden.
I like these cars from my early youth.
The car came with new MOT, full service and new rear brakes...

I have found a lot of information in the forum to do these jobs.

Thanks to all who join their experiences.

Welcome from Australia. Enjoy your beautiful car.
Pity about the head gasket, was it a gentle blow or a catastrophic one?

Thank you all for your warm welcome.
The head gasket problem started with a gentle increase of the temperature, away from the red aera. In the moment when I arrived at home and drove half the way into garage, it sounds like a little explosion and the engine bay was full of steam.
At last I was happy that it happened in the garage and not somewhere on the road.
