Hey everyone,
New member here from Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia (though originally from Cornwall and Hampshire).
Just bought a 1975 P6 3500 as my first ever project resto.
Seems to have a solid base unit, testament to being a New Zealand CKD and the mild, no road salt climate we have here! The only rust is a hole in the rear valance panel and some patina rust in the paint here and there.
Plans are to get it mechanically sorted first, I’m guessing my current issues of no handbrake, very sloppy gear selector and stuck rev counter are common
