New carpet

Starting to refit the interior, left side carpet almost completed. Not a professionals job but looks ok and way better than what was there.
Misses is saying I love my car more than her, so that's all for tonight.

Goodmorning , I thought I messaged you about that in areply, but anyway it is just that cheap carpet by autodec off trade me.
You were looking at getting some nice woollen ones from England or somewhere?
This precut set are just a synthetic type and need trimming to suit. I'm happy (mostly) with them for the price can't complain much

That's good you got some coming
I have a gearshift knob coming from trade me too one day lol
I brought a guitar too ,I'll get that one day too.
Yes the rims sat for a while and contemplated how to remove the old flaky paint, panelbeaters said make a fire and throw them on it, but I opted for paint stripper and I wire brush , they came up ok and will do, I can always put on the originals with the 3500s trims I got

Back seats in and dash/ steering wheel on, coming together slowly but surely

That looks perfect, your seats are in amazing condition have they been restored do you know?

Thanks but no they are original they look good (and in good cond) in the photo but could certainly be better.
The front drivers seat is the worst but ok to sit in (one small tear on the side) but Ive got sheepskins to help protect the fronts.
Ive had the car trucked to our new pad and when they tied it down they pulled a dent in the rear valance, so taken it off, removed paint and dent and ready to prime
I'm also trying to refit the chrome trim round the roof gutter above front windscreen.

Your interior is looking fantastic, very fresh indeed.
I would like to tactfully point out that the steering wheel is not a thing of beauty and lets the side down IMHO.
Perhaps consider a Motolita wood rim. As well as being gorgeous to look at, they feel lovely to hold as well.

Thanks for that, yes might take a little bit of getting used to, and yes a Motolita would be nice, maybe down the track
