Yes they are very low compression aren’t they. If I were to keep it the engine would be swapped out for a larger built version for sure.I collected newly purchased Bruiser with my brothers Mk2(?) & a trailer. Great towcar & l could see why people liked them though the V8 seemed to bluster rather than go when l accelerated.
The Velar pre-production was for sale recently, reduced by 40k to £70k. I found that extremely attractive.
I admired them since i was a kid, however the tax system over here that is based on engine displacement made them prohibited fruits. About 10 years ago you could buy some very nice examples of early 90's models quite cheaply.
