I have a grab handle but haven't managed to get around to fitting it yet.
Can you actually use it with the map light there? I was considering moving the map light but as I said, haven't got around to it yet

I pondered its position for a few days. There is not an option other than over the map light- which it clears perfectly even with my mit over it.
I was hoping to place it over the knee-bin button. Unfortunately the grab handle bolts foul the map light mount bolts.
So I bit the bullet and secured it over the map light.
Hence I surmise the grab handle is possibly designed for the series 1 ,without the map light.
Im satisfied with what Ive done
I keep hearing BLING Bling Bling
I guess this is why one sees so many classic cars at auto shows with masses amount of accessories that no one bothered with back in the day

Never seen these mounted before. A NADA thing.
A great place to store stuff- not. Actually in practice ,they are awkward to enter whilst in a sitting position, and really who uses maps nowadays.
Anyway I purchased two locally ,got them colour matched by my local auto shop and then into my hand gun and on it went.
I had to remove the door cards to fit and found all the required mount holes are already in place from the factory. How convenient.
Simple to fit and I think look Ok.

The boot mounted spare is something very nice to have in case you need more boot space. I have used it just once, when we went on vacations with our Rover, and we needed all the space that we could have, as you usually do on vacations. Apart from that, it is better to have the spare inside the boot.
Hey @GRTV8 those recoloured door pockets are a great addition. Did yours include whatever attaches the little bellows at the sides? Mine aren't tethered with those cords, or wires, or whatever is supposed to hold them on. In my case I just have the big metal clip at the bottom. and consequently every now and then the drivers pocket now falls out onto the street when I open the door. I guess the passenger one is only staying in place because I don't use it as often. I'd love to see a photo or two of how they are supposed to be mounted? Don't suppose you snapped any while you were installing them, did you?
