NEC Classic Car Show 2011

Hope everyone who goes has a great time. I won't be there as I have a baby due next Wednesday (being an engineer I am expecting punctuality!) and the timing is therefore a bit off!
 
I saw a few nice cars being trailered down the M1 yesterday morning, obviously going for the set up day - looking forward to tomorrow now.
 
Disaster!!! Some how my tickets for tomorrow got mixed up with the junk mail and Jane shredded them :shock:

Hope we can still get in with taped together tickets.

Paul I think as long as the barcode can be scanned you'll be ok.

Totally what I was thinking earlier!
Nice looking 'exhibits', but not really cars any more!

Have you also noticed that the snobbery factor seems to increase proportional to the cheapness of the car when new? BMC owners are terrible for it! But Aston owners will talk to you aaaalllllll day (about what their mechanic has been doing lately....)
 
Well done to you all on the p6 stand, it looked good, we had a good day today, hope you all get home safely .Hope the Three Musketeers don't get home too late. Cheers everyone , a really good effort.
 
What a weekend,best in a long time,thanks to everyone that helped out on the stand,we got home safely,11;30 last night we got in,good crack all weekend. :D

I managed to get the tickets sorted by phone on Friday night, they cancelled the set I had and left 4 new ones in the Box Office to collect on arrival.

Jane was quite upset about it at the time as she was looking forward to going. Anyway we got in and was having a great day until she left the camera in the toilets! Fortunately someone handed it in to lost property just before we were leaving.

Had a good chat with the Three Muskateers aswell as Clive and Mark, but I didn't see anyother forum members though.

Hi Paul, glad you got the tickets sorted, sounds like you were lucky to get your camera back, good to know there's still some honest people out there :)
I went along on Sunday,

the show was great and has definately grown some what as its been a year or two since my last visit and managed to meet up with Mike happy days and Mrs happy days nice to see you both again as well as Clive and Charles, David and Dorothy on the club stand and not forgetting Nick.

A job well done as always by Mark,Angie and the team :D
