NADA 3500S Oil Pressure Switch

JR Wadhams shows two similar oil pressure switches. One is Oil Pressure Switch V8 #586724. The other is Oil Switch: 3500 #586742. Neither of these are shown in my parts manual. The manual shows 567920. Will either of these switches work for me as 567920 does not appear available? Thanks for any assistance straightening out this latest fine mess.

My parts book (RTC9022B, 1977) shows idiot light switch as 586742 and gauge transmitter as 555947. The same numbers are used in the earlier parts book dated 1973. 567920 does not appear in this book. Is it possible 586742 is a typo for 586724?

The numbers are too similar to exclude the chance of a typo. Just to throw me off, fearful tho it is altogether different for the NADA cars. My parts catalog is an early one from 1968 I believe so I suppose 567920 is the NADA version with Rover changing about the numbers as they did, havin' a laff. I appreciate your response, thanks.

MGBD do not list either of my numbers, or 567920. Their pic of 555947 looks like an idiot light switch (small body dia). they list a different gauge sender for mGB V8 - for 100psi range gauge, not a rover number. A search for 'rover 567920' brings up quite a few results, not all consistent - some say 1/4-18 NPTF thread, some say 1/2 UNF..? Highly recommend the 1977 parts book, as it has excellent indexes - for many bolts the rear index shows thread and length.

Thanks, will keep an eye out for a newer parts book. It would be helpful if I could communicate with JR Wadhams directly but don't have a way to call international.
