Here’s my crash in 2001 of my Rover Metro when I met a Vauxhall Frontier head on around Peterborough! Thankfully god was on my side that night!

I have a book about the Metro in which the designers of the car were surprised by just how robust the car was in a front end collision when it was first tested. Problem was it conveyed all the force generated to the bits of the car which could move... Us... Much the same as most cars of that era...
