Spent an excellent few hours reading through the forums, thought it was about time I registered. :)

I'm from Portland, USA - although originally from sunny Sussex - and I've just discovered me a very nice 1970 P6 3500s in Burnt Grey (? funny name for a colour!). It's been sitting for a while.. but aside from a few missing switches, there doesn't seem to be too much wrong with it. With any luck (and a new water pump) I'll be firing the old gal up sometime in the next couple of weeks.

My car history is mainly in Triumphs (Dolomites, Stags, 2500s - yes, I know) - but I did have a 1986 SD1 at one point, so I'm not entirely lost. :)
 
This is the car "as it stands".. after 6 years of outside storage. Colour is Burnt Grey.. even though it looked brown, that turned out to be rather a lot of dirt.

It's got a red leather interior.. which is in good nick apart from the rear seat backs.. electrically, it seems OK except for the fan doesn't work (no heating/cooling!).. and it only seems to have one front indicator (the thing on the right under the bumper). That said, the electric windows work, so it's not all bad!

Under-bonnet is an embarrassment, so no pics of that :)
