there are a few of these going on ebay but all I have seen so far are in a pretty awful state, most look like someone dropped a chinese take away on them and did a hasty clean up job leaving clear evidence of spots of food and all sorts . saw 1 pristine mat but doesn't look like the real item, looks like someone cut it out themselves, if they did, really good job, hmmm the search continues ......

thanks Chris, yes I do but the Series 2 ones I have seen so far are in a right state, I will keep on looking, are you having a good weekend?

Hi.
I bought this black soft plastic/rubber roll from Wilko. This for other work. It may be ideal for this. Should be long enough and its soft and pliable also cheap, I think about £6 or so. The photo shows what was remaining so it was fairly big. Cut it as neat as you are able with a good template. I thinks its meant to be some sort of anti slip material.

Toolbox/cabinet drawer liner. Stops all your shiny spanners getting all scratched and dull.

thank you to Dan Archer who was at the Burghley Rally last Sunday, supplied me with a fabulous dashboard mat that fitted exactly of course and most chuffed now, really looks good and luckily in the meantime the dashboard surface below the mat suffered no spills or stains
