Lucas 11AC brush holder/brushes: NOW GONE TO A GOOD HOME.

Thanks to not looking closely enough when recently refurbishing my alternator, I ended up with the wrong brush holder for my 11AC alternator, learning along the way that not all 11ACs are created exactly equally. I would like to donate this holder, with new brushes included, to a loving home. I will pop it in the post for whoever is first in, and first served. Part number is BHD3916: check the photo carefully before taking up my offer.

Re: Lucas 11AC brush holder and brushes - free to a good home.

Hey,

I'm after a set of these brushes. I very much doubt they are still going spare but if they are they would very much be appreciated!!

Kind regards,

Rob

Hi Rob,

They are indeed still sitting here! Let me know your address and I'll pop them in the post for you.

Hi Warren,

I've PM'd my address.

I've only just realised that you are in NZ so if it's too much hassle or too costly I completely understand. I'll pay for the postage, as long as it's not worth more than the brushes!!!!!

Kindest regards,

Rob

Personally I'd send my address by PM rather than posting it on the open forum, but then I was paranoid, until I realised that they all really were out to get me.....

Just edit the posting and delete the address, then send it via PM.

Got the address, brushes and holder will be in the post in the next day or two. Is it possible to edit the main heading of the thread to reflect the fact that the offer has been taken up?

EDIT: Scratch that. Just worked out how to do it.
