LT77 job lot for spares - free or swaps

Hi all,

I have approximately (!) two LT77 gearboxes in parts left from a job lot going free or swap for odds and ends. One of them is ex-Sherpa van so has a different input shaft. Parts are in various states of repair, the best were used to rebuild a third ‘box, which is for my project. No bell housing or selector mechanism.

I really can’t say anything about what suffix they are, what can be used, how complete they are (beyond the seller’s claim they were) or really anything, as I bought unseen from Norway and had it couriered to the engineers’. Only the rebuilder has ever seen the parts. Some have corrosion and I only have his attached photos to go by. Collection only, location is Esher, Surrey.

If you’re in possession of P6B parts I need a good working V8 auto propshaft and a nice black box pleat vinyl backrest cover ie. the front of the seat back, front seat... Any of this could be left with the company where you collect the parts and they can add it to the pallet coming my way.

Save everything! My mechanic just picked up my borked car, we suspect something is wrong with my LT77.
He'll hopefully have it apart and on the bench in the next few days. Depending what he discovers, I might need some of your gearbox bits!

You are just trying to confuse me now, which tarpaulin ? the one covering the pile of rebuilt LT77 gearboxes with bellhousings, or the one covering the stack of Triplex glass roof panels ?

I’d love leathers. In fact, I reached out to a previous owner of my car in Sweden, who sold it to ‘my’ seller in 1990 and shared photos with him. He said he had a full set but I couldn’t get him to sell at the time. I’ll try again as it would be excellent to have. Also, it’s a front seat that has a tear in the side bolster.
