Lot of money, lot of car, good colour though...

The car looks great and the engine certainly sounds in terms of spec..awesome. I wonder why he would want to sell it?

Huge amount of money spent no doubt. I imagine that the sale price would be a long way short.

A very well-known car, with a pretty astonishing spec. It is in lovely condition, but even the nicest P6 in the world will never see me part with a five figure sum.

It's easy to part with a five figure sum , just that we do it over a few years then convince our selfs it was well spent and worth every penny  :?

I concur Stina. Its less painful and for a DIY sort the end result is priceless in terms of your health and wallet .

A wolf in sheep's attire . My sort of stealth bomber !!

The car is a credit to the seller and I can see why he/she would want the best price for all the work thats gone into that car . Top colour too - worth double that !!

I also agree with Stina, I have just done a quick calculation in my head and my Rover is a VERY expensive mistress.

That is always the case. I stopped adding up the receipts back in the late 1980's

There is a full description of 'Beastie' in the Classified section on our Club website http://www.p6roc.com
The reason for selling is that the owner Trevor Denton has lost his rented garage space and has only room for his other P6 at home (hence the reason why it is currently stored in my garage).
This is one hell of a P6 and has exhibited at the NEC over the last few years. Below are photographs when at the P6ROC National Show at Waddesdon Manor in August this year and at the NEC.
In my opinion this 4500S is excellent value for the asking price.
There are several other P6's up for sale asking more than this, but in basic condition.
The new owner will be very lucky to own 'Beastie'

""BEASTIE" is smooth and quick (OK VERY QUICK) with 280 bhp under the bonnet, 28 mpg possible. "

My everyday diesel is 275BHP, so not that different.. and frequently gets over 42MPG, even with my heavy right foot. Have had 47MPG out of it when the cruise control is on.

Not a bad looking car, but would certainly have to have a respray before being seen in public driving it ;)
