Looking for one of these screen filters that go under the banjo bolt in the chain tensioner oil circuit. I would really appriciate if someone has a spare but if not, if I could get the dimensions I'll start looking for a deisel fuel filter that might be able to be modified to be used. Ive also attached a photo of my rebuilt engine. Just because I like showing off....

The Brake Servo is a 'PBR' brand unit . Was a very common non OEM/aftermarket brake parts manufacturer/supplier here in Aust up until the 80s/90s. PBR Brakes.

Take some measurements of your filter. Mm or inches work for me. I picked up a filter some years ago that I thought might fit in there. If it is close then I might pull that nose off of my can and investigate further and see if it will fit. I think I have a part number with it as well.

Nice Rover 2000 automatic. I own a white one in Adelaide Australia.

I just checked the filter that I had on the shelf, it was the right length but the diameter was bigger. Sorry I cannot help you on this one!

Thanks for following up. The online forum here in Oz came through, one of the guys found one in a seized engine he had in the shed and is sending to me via the mail. I'll still measure it up once it gets here. Would be good to find an alternate for future reference.

I'm still planning drive to Adelaide in Oct. Was planning to take 5 days to get there (from Newcastle) via the Great Ocean Road then a 2.5 day trip back through the middle. Think the odds of the ROVE still being on have taken a dive this week with the uptick in cases in Vic. Time will tell

I drove the Great Ocean Road in my Rover 2000 automatic back in 2010. It was a good drive but I did have a clanky universal joint at the time. I was glad to get home. I replaced the Universal joint before driving to Queensland in 2012 for Nat Rover that year.

Turned up in the Mail (from Victoria) today. Will measure it up before I install it.

What did you use on the rocker cover to get that finish?
I am in the process of rebuilding mine and would love a finish like that for my rocker cover.

Just Autosol metal polish and probably about 6 hours of labour over a few weeks. Do a section (say 4 sq inches) at a time getting t stay motivated.

Just by hand. Use good quality cloth and work section at a time until its done before moving on.
