LHD throttle pedal for Nada P6V8.

Hi.
Anyone got an excellent or NOS throttle pedal for a LHD Nada Rover P6V8?
Are they the same on all LHD P6 models.?
Do you know if it is the same as any other car therefore easy to get hold of?

Fixed mine for now,but no idea how long it will last!
 
No, the asterisk in the parts catalogue denotes that this is a new part, not used on any Rover model before. As far as I know, it hasn't been used on any model afterwards. Obtaining another one might be tricky, and swapping for the standard setup involves swapping either the pedal box or at least removing it and modifying the lever arm.

You might be able to use a pedal from a Jaguar XJ6, but it won't have the two 'guides' at the back and therefore will tequire modifications to the lever arm. However, it algins with the floor mounted bracket so you'll be in the clear there.

I know you took a while sourcing it as well.
Was it used or NOS,as it didn't last long before failing at the weak point.
Hopefully my fix will last quite well,as long as the glue is good enough. :|
 
It was good used, didn't have any weak points afaik. NOS, you might try Pierre at RPS but doubt he has one.

Your fix might be worth posting as I've seen loads with home-made hinges, tie-wraps and other bodges..
