Kelsey Hayes Magstar Wheels

I found a snapshot from when I first fitted mine, when they were painted black. The trim rings were naff!
Gold stripes on the tyres would look excellent! I reckon thin red stripes would also look really good.
Do the 185R14s have the same, or as near as damn it, circumference as 195/75R14 then? The Vredestein Sprint Classics I have now do come up very close to the inner arch of the rear wing, and would rub if I had two fat blokes in the back!

the 195/75 and 185/80 (185R14) have virtually the same rolling radius. I have had both on my car. I have to say though that the 185R14's did look bigger and seemed to fit the arches better. It may just be an illusion of course. As for the width, when I measured them, despite being 185 and 195, they were basically the same give or take. I suspect there is a fair tolerance in tyre manufacture!! With two kids in the back and a boot full of stuff they would rub on a roundabout but it wasn't really a problem.

Magstars and whitewall tyres look fantastic. Not really a fan of the fake knock-off centre caps, to be honest. Just a bit too much. Your car looks absolutely immaculate, and the white coach lines above the side trims are a lovely touch. Really rather envious, I must admit.

I hand-painted those lines with a special roller tool. It is OK as the stainless trim can be used as a guide but it took some practice. The guy I bought the tool from said to keep some white spirit and a rag handy so when you get it wrong you can wipe the paint off and start again. Needless to say I used a lot of white spirit!!!!

@keynsham1, at some point I'll get another set of doors and wings prepped, painted, polished and hung, at which point I'll be making a beeline to your lock-up so you can do the same thing for me! No stainless trims though, so you'll have to walk the length of the car and do it in one go. In the meantime (and I fear that while be a long while) you can practice on the inside of your garage door, lots of straight lines to work from! ;)
Here's a great little video of the Cockney fella who does the coach lining for Rolls Royce.

They look pukka mate, i’m still waiting on getting mine back from the powder coaters/diamond cutting, can i ask how much you paid to have them done just out of interest? I’ve not had a Price yet and they’ve been there months
