Is Castrol Automatic TQ the right fluid for a BW35 - Stop me before I do something foolish!

The large slick of transmission fluid beneath my long-standing project car has grown whilst I've been unable to work on it (laid up with chronic back pain, cue violins). I'm hopeful that I've enough mobility back to crawl underneath and change the sump gasket and filter and fill her back up again this week.
Before I go and pour something like 6 or 7 litres of the wrong transmission fluid in, can anybody reasssure me that Castrol Automatic TQ is the correct stuff?!? Needless to say the motor factors out here in Berlin haven't got a clue about anything older than from the '80s, and none of the Brand name fluids listed in my Owner's Handbook exist anymore...

There are 2 types of Castrol TQ ( F and III ) available in the shops, not sure what the difference is, but TQF is the one listed in the manual.

Also available is Duckhams Q-Matic

Well I could'nt find Castrol TQF, but I did find out that the F stands for Ford. The kind man at Charlie Browns pointed me in the direction of an equivilent brand specced for Ford (he looked it up proper like, I insisted).

From what I have found there seems to be one long standing FORD spec fluid and at least 2 General Motors (GM) spec fluids (also with things like Lexcon II in their name). Hav'nt the foggiest idea what the difference is between them, thier all thin and Red ! To add to the confusion BW changed from Ford to GM spec sometime in the late 70's according to the ref book we were looking at. I'm not suggesting ones as good as the other though, keep to the recommended spec for your G Box ! (please).
