interior light stays on

my roof light just suddenly came on and stays on .today I had to use wipers/headlights/heaters today then my ignition light came on and also voltage gauge was getting low .any ideas

I would suspect the battery was drained by the interior light. That would leave you in a low voltage situation. First thing is to isolate each door switch to ensure one of those haven’t shorted out. If those appear fine suspect the dash panel switch. Then once the light is sorted look at charge and battery condition.

Door switches are OK. I took them out one by one the light stays on. Which dash panel switch are you referring to and where located plz

Now I have taken bulb out of roof light and put battery on charge for now

One of the switches on the centre dash is for the interior light.

Oh yes ofcourse sometimes I don't think even if its right in front of me .do I have to remove all that panel to look behind this switch
