Yarra Glen British & European show. Colour is hard to pick, but up close its a very dark green. Has AC, possibly from new. Mine the Mexico next door.
Why is it called Woof?

If its a/c - more than likely a UK assembled. Only reason I say , is that I wanted a/c in mine and NZ assembled cars didnt offer that option.
Oz cars did option a/c but they were big bulky units that were not integrated into the dash like the UK option.

Possibly called "Woof" because the owner has the same name for the car as I used earlier "Rover the Wonder Dog"

You were lucky with the moniker, a workmate of mine back in the day used to call mine 'Fido'. I wasn't best pleased but didn't let him know that.:(

Decided after a slight leak in our radiator that it might be time to re-instate the viscous fan acquired around 45 years ago but then taken out when it leaked so just had it reconditioned.
Anyhow once at the mouth of the rabbit hole thought it might be time to think about A/C (particularly after a 35 degree day drive). Thought we could remove the heater and replace it with an evaporator unit and use some of the existing duct and cutouts whilst blanking off other.
So far have removed heater and scuttle valance and front bumper, bought a Treeligo under dash A/C /Heater unit with electric compressor and a used front valance which will need to be cut out at the top in order to accommodate the 120mm deep combined condensor/dryer/electric pusher fan.
Our mechanic thinks that the viscous fan with 3 core radiator may be sufficient (thus leaving the existing valance in tact) but my reading of the Treeligo installation instructions suggests that the electric fan input is necessary for the compressor-controller to work properly.
Will need a severe alternator upgrade.
Plan is to have everything reversible

Will be taking a break for a couple of weeks and not having much done until second half of March (by which time won't need A/C) Will probably post a write-up if it works.

Well, the story is that the first owner's dog was called Rover, so...
Owner says it is an NZ car.

Mine's a NZ assembled Australian delivered car and it has AC. It is the big aftermarket AC unit though.

I would say it is British Racing Green, the Triumph version. A friend of mine in Sydney has a 74 model in the same colour, it too with AC which was dealer fitted. There were few Rovers that came to Australia wearing that colour.

Bosch alternators will fit - a worthwhile upgrade with minimal issues. I've got an updated later gas Compressor in my car - I was planning to use it all on the new motor but I'm not sure how I'll go with a 4.6, aircon and power steering. An aftermarket unit that's electric might be better in the long term.

Ron's right, I think that's a Triumph 2000/2500/Stag colour?

Its one of the NZd colours, My '71 was that colour. There are a couple of factory air con cars in Aus and NZ. Mostly ex embassy cars but some direct imports and some by picky customers that were prepared to wait and argue with the dealer...
