Apart from the twist locks, the bonnet has received treatment that I have not seen before.

I quite like that bonnet too. That said, I feel the cut out section looks too small, and should really be the full width of that scoop. I really like those comfy looking cloth upholstered seats.

Yup the opening full width, and the edges thinned and a floor put in all to resemble an alloy scoop.
In fact like this one I have just made on a new bonnet for my Cobra.
Start

Finish in high build primer and guide coat.

Looks almost like he has put a plate over the original bulges to join them together, then left the front open to feed that air filter.

That is a great observation. I went to the trouble of sourcing a flat bonnet, if this is a re worked V8 style bonnet it would very easy to make a superb large scoop.

As a professional photographer I love it when people don't consider the background in their shots....
I also agree the scoop should be opened up. Are these really selling for $12K? Seems ambitious.
