Item 120209497729 on Ebay this afternoon - a P6 S2 Estate with some really cool mods.
I'm pretty sure the rear 1/4 bumpers, light clusters and bumper side wraps are LDV Pilot (nee Sherpa 200). I've always thought this would look really good on the back of a saloon - with the gap in the middle completed of course! The sharp point of the rear wing that previosly housed the Rover lamp clusters would then need to be rounded down to mirror the radius of the boot lid.
Those making a convertible could get away with the rear arches without further worry, the rest of us need to work out the rear door aperture sealing - the part of the D post bearing the door seal must have gone for a burton with that big a flare!
I'm not quite sure about the front - the basic plot is good, but the new indicators don't work for me. Perhaps a set of TR6 indicators under the headlamps would be better. Also I'm not sure how I would deal with the leading edges of the wings. I think I might take off the front protrusion and blend the sides of the wing directly around to the grill and similarely blend the top peak down slightly. I know what I mean but it's very difficult to describe!
Wheels are absolutely superb though!
How about it Erikthe Viking and Webmaster?
