Heres an idea

Would'nt it be great if there was a section on the forum where you could look up various pages or rather any page out of the big parts Catalogue?
As a learner to the various problems that crop up with the car its great to get the help and advice from the likes of John , Pete and all who have helped me with the car , but sometimes a picture paints a thousand words, i have one of these books and the illustrations in it are like a mechano set very easy to understand.
I also think it would help all the experienced people who are kind enough to reply to the questions posed. by contributing their advice with the added back up of a picture reference

any thoughts?

Its a very good idea, we've also thought about putting the service manual online, the only problem we have is with copyright (as usual).
I will discuss it with Pete the editor, who will most likely have contact with Rover etc.
The main question will be - are they still for sale new ??, if so then we're unlikely to be able to re-produce it, if not, then they're unlikely to have a problem with us re-producing it.

We'll see what happens....
