I must to admit to being here to seek advice on converting HS8 carbs from the AED device to a manual choke. The carbs originally came off a Jag XJ6 with the AED but will be used on my tuned Dolomite Sprint engine. I remember working on the Rovers HS8's many years ago but cannot remember just how the choke setup works and I would like to use something similar. You guys have a lot of knowledge about the cars so I am here hoping for some help.
My question is, what bits will I need to connect a manual choke on the HS8 carbs? Looks like I will need some kind of different ends on the throttle bar so it will connect to the choke arm?
Any help or pictures of the Rover setup would be very gratefully received.
