HRW switch.

Hi, need a bit of help with the above, might be a silly question but i cannot work out how to remove the switch, --- ive tried unscrewing it , pulling it, and cant see any sort of retaining pin ect, my heated window does work, but the bulb is intermittent , dont want to get to ham fisted on it and break it.
Any help would be great, regards Steve.

Is it the round one or rectangular one, got a pic?

Sorry no pic, but its the round push pull type, standard fit to a 1974 i think? .

Undo the plastic pull knob by unscrewing it, lift out the bulb, then undo the knurled ring that holds the switch to the dash, and the switch pushes out to the rear.

Thanks, that all makes sense, and was my first thought on how to remove, but when i tried the knob would just not move, and i didnt want to break it, i will try again. many thanks Steve.
