Hi I'm Gary I am based in paisley near Glasgow. I have a white 1975 p reg series 2 3500 auto.

Hi Gary - that's a fantastic looking car. Welcome to the forum!

Rich.
Thanks rich. Still got a way to go. She currently has no mot. I've fixed most off the failures only the back pads to change. I'm struggling to find a garage to do them prob end up doing it myself in the carpark. Got the new ones there it's just getting a dry warmish day.

Welcome to the forum, great colour combo.

Rear pads are are pain but quite straight forward, could probably give you a hand.

The photo reminds me of the Rikki Fulton Sketch, probably have to be local to get it though. This chap said to me, "If you look over there, you'll see Dumbarton Rock". Well, I looked for 20 minutes and the thing never moved an inch.

welcome to the forum, from Australia the land of sun , sand and s**.

Better watch out for the in-cumming tide, rover badges depict a viking ship, but that is deceptive in the evening sunset? even viking ships sank so fire up that trusty V8 and skedaddle...........

Welcome to the forum. Nice to see a P6 prowling the highlands. I'm in Cheshire but drive my P6 to Edinburgh from time to time to visit a mate there.

Wonderful looking car, P6's like yours are like great art, be it a Renoir, Rembrandt or Leonardo da vinci I get the same pleasure looking at a nice sorted P6B.

Just to keep it in thread theme I hope you have a wonderful time Marauding in your Viking flagship (albeit British) Rover.

Graeme

If I brush paint my old Rover will it one day be worth the same as a Renoir, awesome....but do I have to be dead to collect?

I think in terms of pleasure given you don't need to wait for a far off day or when you are dead, you are collecting already ;)

A Perl of wisdom Graeme, I agree..I have yet to name my car and now think an old master would be appropriate?
.................. trying to find some Glitter.................

I like your thinking! and sticking with the Viking theme you could go the musical route with Wagner and the ride of the Valkyries!

..............will you see it before you smell it?..............

Odin may be angry? but...
splice the main-brace, prepare for battle, unfurl the windscreen wipers, adjust the GPS, check for fuel or logs for the stove, hove westwards to the land of sun, sand and self improvement....?

Welcome aboard, Gary. Is this your first Rover? If so, you are in for a treat as they are really lovely drivers.
