Hello to everyone at the forum and P6 club. Phew! I have Finally been able to join the forum after many weeks of trying 
Some sort of web glitch i assume? Anyway im glad to be here. I am in my forties and i aquired my first "classic car" a few months back. its a 1968 series one 2000 in Zircon blue with beige leather seats. Prior to me geting it, the car had been in a garage for 19 years! Its prettty good mechanically (i think) but needs a bit of work doing on it in the shape of inner sills and rear inner wheel arches (and "D" post?) and new shocks. Fortunately im a dab hand at the old welding and have a powerfull MIG in the shape of a british made quality Portamig The good thing about it being it goes right down to 20 amps for the thin stuff, so it less likely to blow holes through the metal. I will of course be joing the club as well as the forum. I just hope that there are some local meetings not too far from me.
