Help Identifying Big and Main Bearings

I´ll appreciate some help identifying bearings size.
I took the crankshaft to a machining shop and they found that needs only a slight polishing.
They ask me if the old bearings where standard or ¨oversized¨.
I found the following numbers in each type of bearings:

Main Bearings: 534188
4597B

Big End: 530536
4600B

Is it possible to know if they are standard according this numbers ?
Thanks

Which engine is it, and then you can find the size for the crank and measure it to see if it is standard or undersize ?

how odd, if they know the crank only needs a polish they should of measured it first, in which case they should know if its standard or not by the crank pin sizes

With a shell bearing usually if it is a standard size it will have STD on the back, if it does not then it is reasonable to assume it is standard. If it is oversize it will have the oversize stamped on the back, ie .010"

I have seen plenty of standard shells without any marks, but have never seen an unmarked oversize.

...what he says :) & I speak from hard-earned experience...;)

Ok. I assume this too. Thanks

That's correct, but I wanted additional information to confirm.
I´ve sent the nominal size of the journals ( main and big ) taken from The Big White Book, and from that they will know.

By the way here are the two sizes:

Nominal Diameter of Crank Journals
Main: 2,5 in ( 63,50 mm )
Big end: 2,0 in ( 50,8 mm )

Hi Carlos, how is the engine rebuild going? I've just finished mine, which has the original 2000 TC block overbored for 2200 pistons. It all seems to work very well so far. It has a 2200 TC head with new valves and guides, but is running on the original SU HS8s. When the lockdown ends I'll take it to a rolling road to get the needles and tuning optimised. With luck it will make more power than a factory 2200 TC because it will breathe slightly better on the bigger carbs. I'm using the 2200 TC distributor.

The crankshaft, like yours, was the original standard size and didn't need regrinding, just a polish. In case it helps, these are the bearings I used. Brand is AE Glacier, mains are M5246SA, big ends are B4434SA.

Here's a pic of the engine about to go back in the car.

Good luck with yours

John

1961 two-stroke, bought in Sweden in 2001 and driven back. Regularly used (when it was possible) and not at all smoky once warmed up a bit.

Hi John, your engine looks really nice ! For sure everything is going to be all right.
Regarding my engine things are in standby , I'm waiting for the main and big bearings (Standard) to come. I've got them from Wadhams but the post is working , let's say in ¨slow motion¨ .
Here a resume:
Engine head sent to a place here in Figueras ( Girona - North of Spain 300€), who specializes in cylinder heads only. They made a very good job, new exhaust valves, guide seals and a slight regrind of seats and surface. Mounted camshaft on the head with existing shims and found no clearance. Following advice from the forum, regrind the shims the required clearance to have a starting point to make calculations, and as soon I mounted back again, I´ll ask for the required shims .
Engine block sent to Olot ( Girona - North of Spain 400€), again good job from that people. As soon the bearings arrives, I will proceed to mount the new pistons and rings, and the crankshaft with new standard thrust washers. Here are some pics
