Hello! Looking for advice - Rover Meteor

My Grandad was a mechanic and an expert in vintage car restoration (specifically engine rebuilds, which he did hundreds of). He sadly recently passed away, but has left a collection of various vintage car parts (many from old Rovers)

He also was rebuilding a Rover Meteor, which unfortunately was left as just a chassis with the engine part way through a rebuild and various other components spread around unlabelled.

Unfortunately noone else we know of has the knowledge to identify and collect together all the parts of this car. From what I understand they are quite rare, so may be worth trying to find someone who is interested in rebuilding / restoring it.

I'm wondering if anyone here local to Herefordshire / Shropshire has any knowledge of this car, or would be interested in at least trying to identify all the parts?

Someone in the Rover Sports Register may have an idea , could be worth asking the question as the club covers all Rover vehicles from 1905 and collectively has a wealth of knowledge Contact Us - (thersr.co.uk)

I restored our outside john a couple of years back. Had to replace the rotted cistern so bought this one cheap from the bay, rather appropriate for a Rover owner l thought.

It was tank only but luckily the Burlington mechanism from the old one fitted with only slight modification.
