Hello all, I have just joined club and received my membership card today. I live in Launceston Tasmania Australia. I have been a Rover fan for as long as I can remember and especially the P6. I have waited a long time to replace my first series 1 P6B and purchased a 1974 3500 S in March 08. It's a beauty, one owner and I have had first offer on it for 8 years, I'm very patient. I fell in love with the car when I first saw it. P6's are now pretty rare in Tasmania, that alone an 'S'. It's Mexico Brown with Huntsman brown roof and Sandalwood upholstery, originally velour but was re-upholstered in Connolly hide some years ago. The box pleating was retained.
I am also a member of the Rover Club of Australia (based in Melbourne) and also participate in their email forum. I have found it excellent and the club offers tremendous support.
