Hello everybody,

Happy to join this forum as the proud new owner of the P6 3500S '75. Full of plans to bring it in better shape, and once ready, use it as much as I can here on the Dutch roads, and do some touring abroad in the holidays.

Any advices for "must do's" when I start restorations? Current ideas: change the fusebox, sound damping, put in good audio wires for later use (next to motor + gear box revision, and full interior and body repair)

Cheers, Julius

Looks like a good one from here Julius.
I dont mind a bit of Almond at night either - very tasty. Wheels are rather rare for you lot up there .
Lots you can do to make them more 21st cent , without too much effort.eg, upgraded oil pump, anti roll bar, elecky ignition etc.
Have fun.

Sound damping is mostly a waste of time as the limiting noise factor is wind around the front screen. Some work where the exhaust is in the boot and a barrier layer over the transmission and engine compartment bulkhead is about it. If the soundproofing tiles from the factory have dried and don't stick then replace them. I silver lining of dynamat will achieve very little.
