Hi there ,

I have just joined and have started looking for a P6 3500S manual or a 3500 auto.

Must be in VGC , I prefer the velour material. Roystyle alloys too.

I like the white one with the orange interior on here , but no reply from the seller as yet.

So if anyone can point me in the right direction , I would appreciate it .

I'm the only other person on the planet who prefers the nylon seats!

Rostyles are actually chromed steel and the only "sports" wheel (much) heavier than the the standard one. In the UK almost all are 15" P5 wheels. Genuine P6 14" Rostyles are rare (usually reimported) and look surprisingly different.

Anyway, you are focusing on the wrong thing. These are trivial to change. Condition. Condition. Condition. Lift those rear seats!!!

Can't comment on that car's condition but the owner clearly knows his stuff with the coolant tank upgrade and the Sundym (tinted glass) is very nice to have.

welcome to site James. PeterZHR is wrong in that I too prefer cloth seats ( my car has these but not in orange). where he refers to. lifting rear seat is that is a main area for corrosion . bear in mind power sills have NO relation to any strength of. car at all being simply screwed in place! if possible ( many sellers not keen on having these removed) have a look behind them and in any case inner sills and under carpets!
rear D section ( lower part of rear body that curves under rear doors) is well known rust area as would be. lower sections of doors themselves.
ideally have a look at rover p6 repairs by members here or other sites. There are even guides to what to watch out for and check from Rover P6 clubs(s) . ideally a V* manual with power steering is most coveted but 2200 tc is also good though can suffer cal heads warping if over heated at high speeds ! ( had a colleague do that once) .over heating on V8. can be common hence uprated. rads and electric fans are used by many . do check the small small pipe to inlet manifold 'tower' is not blocked! Harvey on here is a fountain of. good sense and know how. good luck. have we tried a few shows such as Enfield Pageant ? where you will see. all sots of cars including rovers and can. chat owners etc first hand advise etc.
